Cellulose fibers are native liginocellulosic fibers that have undergone chemical of mechanical treatment to eliminate lignin, hemicellulose, and other components, leaving only cellulose. Regenerated cellulose fibers, such as Lyocell, viscose, and rayon, are synthetically produced from natural source and fall between natural and manufactured fibers (Idstrom et al., 2016; Ramamoorthy et al., 2015).
