The flow of goods through end-to-end supply chain involving several parties which require specific temperature control to retain product integrity. It includes handling, operation, transport, and storage from the point of manufacture or harvest to the end user. Three rules apply: Proper temperature must be applied to a sound product, ASAP, throughout the entire distribution chain.
