Packaging systems (Thermal shippers) which help to maintain temperature control for the payload. It can be classified as Active, Passive, or Hybrid. Thermal shippers are meant to maintain the temperature, not to refrigerate products. They may need to be cooled (preconditioned) to desired temperature prior to transport. Tertiary shippers are what the secondary packaging goes into. Single items or groups of items can go into the Tertiary shipping container.
